The second and final campaign of that day was an empowerment program to be held at Ogwuaga Abba Community in Nwagele LGA of Imao state.
Once again, foundation members arrived early at the venue where women as well as elders of the community were already seated in anticipation.
The opening prayer was said and some of the elders stepped up to address everyone present, especially the community women on how the foundation had come to empower them.
The foundation founder and CEO got to address the community, and in his final statement expressed the importance of empowering women and that it was an essential part of the growth of society and changing the present narrative. He thanked the community members for their warm welcome and the opportunity to carry out the program. He also reassured them that this was the first of many such programs to be presented to the community.
The other members and volunteers proceeded to share the truckload of items with the community women. The event came to an end with joy and laughter, lots of gratitude, well wishes, and prayers from the recipients.
However, all gratitude and praise are given to God for the opportunity to help and positively affect others.
